Every week, I scour the web to find inspiring outfits on your favorite celebs and help you recreate their looks! This week, I was inspired by Delta Goodrem, Kourtney Kardashian, and Zoe Saldana. Read on to see how you can get their looks for yourself.

Look 1: Delta Goodrem’s Casual Glam in a Floral Maxi Skirt

Delta Goodrem, Australian starlet and girlfriend to Nick Jonas, stepped out with her younger beau to go to an Adele concert in a fabulous floral maxi skirt. It seems that all of Hollywood has been donning maxis lately, and it’s impossible not to be inspired by this trend’s many incarnations. Delta’s look is feminine with a tiny touch of bohemian, and is a great example of an outfit that works for both day and night — casual glam!

Delta’s outfit centers around a flowy maxi skirt; this one from Forever 21 is similar to Delta’s in that it is floral and flowy, and in a soft color scheme. Tuck in a tank top that works with the skirt’s colors, and belt your waist with a chunky brown belt. The belt is actually crucial for this look because it breaks up the colors of the skirt and tank, and highlights your figure so the skirt doesn’t overwhelm your frame. If it’s chilly, add a peach-colored cardigan like Delta did. Finally, a handbag in a muted color and some flat, bejeweled sandals complete the look.

Look 2: Kourtney Kardashian’s Pleated Chiffon Mini

I know, I know… I featured Kourtney Kardashian in my post last week, and while I usually I try to mix up which celeb’s styles are showcased each week, I could not pass up the chance to share this look with you guys! Kourtney is the master of making classic pieces look modern; here, she wears a burnt orange pleated mini skirt with a loose, creme-colored button-down shirt, accessorized with sandals and a layered necklace. Her look showcases a really gorgeous color combination, which would be especially perfect for fall.

Pleated chiffon skirts are a recent trend that I am totally in love with – whether maxi or mini, the skirts are so feminine and classic looking! Urban Outfitters carries one in a similar shade to Kourtney’s, over which you can rock a button-down blouse. The blouse should ideally be made of a soft material for a casual look (not the stiff kind you’d wear in an office setting). Next, Kourtney’s necklace seems like quite a unique (and pricey!) piece, but this necklace does a good job of mimicking hers with its long length and feathers.

As Kourtney shows us, sandals look great with this look, but I also love the idea of swapping them for some neutral loafers, which give off a collegiate vibe. Add some sunglasses and an elegant, vintage-looking bag, and viola!: You’ve got a look that’s classic, modern, and feminine.

Look 3: Zoe Saldana’s Jumpsuit

Actress Zoe Saldana donned an olive-colored jumpsuit this week, accessorized with some heeled sandals and a gorgeously structured plum-colored bag. What particularly caught my eye about Zoe’s look was its color palette: the muted, yet rich colors make a statement without being too loud, and are ideal for this time of year.

Jumpsuits can be confusing sometimes — what’s the best way to wear one without looking too overdone or undone? A jumpsuit in a rich fabric and a chic color like olive green is a statement in itself, and can be worn day or night – you just have to accessorize it correctly. To recreate Zoe’s look, shoes and accessories are best kept on a minimum, but should definitely be eye-catching. Brown oversize sunglasses and a red structured handbag, along with some slingback platform sandals in a neutral hue are all fashion-forward yet do not overwhelm the outfit.

Gwyneth Paltrow, an American singer and actress, has been fashion’s favorite for over a decade now. She certainly knows how to work a look, whether she is strutting down the red carpet or simply spending the day with her kids, Gwyneth’s fashion style never disappoints. She shifts from swanky to elegant effortlessly but her ultra-stylish ensemble are at all times, impeccably finished with neutral colors, unfussy silhouettes, and tailored items that artfully displays her lovely figure.

Gwyneth is partial to an all-American mix of attractive yet simple tees and tops and skinny jeans or boyfriend jeans for her off-screen moments. But for the red carpet, Gwyneth’s style is nothing more than sophisticated with and edgy vibe. She rocks a short suit like no one can, and brings this alternative red carpet look one notch higher with satin and organza booties by Gianvito Rossi.

Gwyneth used to be more traditional in her red carpet look before she went back to acting in 2008 after a furlough to give birth to her two kids. Then, she was known to favor more classic styles. Remember her pink Ralph Lauren dress which she wore for the 71st Academy Awards in 1999? That dress was alluded to as one of the most illustrious red carpet dress in the history of the Oscars. She single handedly brought pink back into the fashion scene. But since her successful comeback to the movie world, she has been spotted sporting more risqué attire, like the short suit, becoming more adventurous in her fashion choices.

Whatever Gwyneth wears, however, all look good on her, whether it is her all- American casual look or her more fabulous red carpet ensemble. She has an innate sense of style that you can’t buy or borrow. One thing that you can count on with Gwyneth Paltrow is her ability to wrap up a look with the most fabulous shoes with killer heels.

Our parents knew him as the energetic frontman of Aerosmith in the 1970s. We were introduced to him as the guy who sang the catchy theme song from Armageddon. And yet again, a new generation has been introduced to the eclectic singer/songwriter as the new judge on American Idol. Yes, ladies, this week we’ve got a good one for you — we’re breaking down the style of the legendary Steven Tyler!

Out of all the stylish men I’ve covered, Steven Tyler has me the most excited. His bohemian, rock star style is extremely fashion-forward, yet is so easy to translate to a twentysomething girl’s wardrobe. Next time you channel surf, stop for a few minutes on American Idol and take a look — his outfits are often more inspiring than those of all the contestants and Jennifer Lopez combined!

Maybe good taste runs in families, because Steven is the father of two other famous faces in fashion — Liv Tyler, an actress and a model, and plus-sized model and public speaker Mia Tyler.

Elements of Steven Tyler’s Style

Steven Tyler incorporates many different styles into his own look. His outfits frequently feature many hippie elements, such as feather earrings, suede fringe, leather headwraps, flared jeans, and floppy hats.

Steven is also known for his bad-boy rockstar image as well. He’s a fan of tight leather pants, piles of necklaces and bracelets, black nail polish, deep v necks (I like to call them capital V’s!), motorcycle boots, and aviator sunglasses.

Steven Tyler’s signature is his use of bold, colorful patterns. He likes to rock patterned blouses, and used to tie large printed scarves to his microphone stand during concerts!

The key to getting Steven Tyler’s look is really just to wear what you think looks cool. It’s obvious that Steven Tyler doesn’t follow any fashion rules, and doesn’t care if a piece is meant for a man or woman, or meant to be dressy or casual. By throwing an unexpected piece into a regular outfit, you’ll create interest and rock your own unique look.

This look channels Steven’s flower child aesthetic. Seventies fashion has been back for a while now, and Steven’s interpretation of this trend is a perfect example of how to modernize the look! Dust off your old flared jeans from high school and pair them with a floral pussy bow blouse. Add a vest — fur or suede, depending on the season — and finish the outfit with feather earrings, a floppy hat, and a pair of wedges.

This outfit is inspired by Steven’s look from when he made his comeback in the late ’80s and early ’90s. Leather pants have a classic, rock and roll look, and are perfectly balanced by a simple striped v-neck. Add a grungy denim jacket, and glam up the look with leopard flats, a fringed clutch, dreamcatcher earrings, and a guitar cuff bracelet.
