Celebrity Street Style of the Week: Frankie Sandford, Cameron Diaz, & Ashley Tisdale

Celebrity Street Style of the Week: Frankie Sandford, Cameron Diaz, & Ashley Tisdale
Celebs
Every week, I scour the web to find inspiring outfits on your favorite celebs and help you recreate their looks! This week, I was inspired by Frankie Sandford, Cameron Diaz, and Ashley Tisdale. Read on to see how you can get their looks for yourself.

Look 1: Frankie Sandford’s Stripes & Suede

The last time I featured her, you guys were vocal about your love of Frankie Sandford from The Saturdays! So this week, Frankie is back again, this time showing off her playful yet chic style in London. Always one to make a statement, she wore a striped jersey dress which she cinched at her waist with a thin belt, a cropped suede motorcycle jacket, and some brown open-toed booties.
I love this ensemble because it pairs casual, summer-appropriate stripes with more structured elements, namely the motorcycle jacket and booties. I also like this outfit because it can be worn during the summer, but its color palette makes it classic enough to wear into fall.

To recreate Frankie’s look, start out with a summery striped dress in a lightweight fabric – this particular dress has a color palette that incorporates the brown colors of the jacket and accessories. A suedette motorcycle jacket is a chic, unexpected choice to wear over such a casual dress, but as Frankie shows us, it creates a fun and fashionable look. Show off your waist and break up the stripes by wearing a thin brown belt. Finally, open-toed brown booties or sandals match the vibe of the outfit, as does a structured pebbled bag in a classic shape.

Look 2: Cameron Diaz’s Summer Neutrals

Cameron Diaz has been all over the place this week promoting her new movie Bad Teacher, and has been photographed in an array of cute outfits. The one above, which particularly caught my eye, consisted of a beige mini skirt, which Cameron paired with a plain white top, denim jacket, and beige heels, with a similarly colored bag. Cameron looks effortless in her light outfit ideal for the season, pairing chic, neutral colored pieces with a classically casual denim jacket.

A neutral colored skirt in a lightweight fabric, worn with a white tank or tee, may seem bland, but the denim jacket transforms the look into one that is casual and cute. Accessories also make the look stand out — try wearing a gold necklace for sparkle, which works well with the gold accenting on the chain-strap purse. Above, Cameron wore nude heels, making her legs look super long, but if you prefer a more casual look, try wearing some flats or oxfords in a skintone-matching shade, like these which have geometric cutouts.

Look 3: Ashley Tisdale’s Rips & Lace

Ashley Tisdale was spotted out to dinner with her boyfriend wearing some destroyed black skinny jeans with a studded belt, a loose tank top in a lacey floral print fabric, and some beige open-toeed booties with cutouts, along with a gold watch. This look is perfect for nighttime, and the addition of the gold details makes this edgy look a bit more feminine.

Destroyed black jeans give an edgy vibe to a sweet, lacey, printed top. Since the top and jeans alone create a bold look, keep accessories simple by wearing simple beige heels, a thin, studded belt, and a watch. The beige and gold pieces create an eye-catching pop of interest, yet won’t overpower the look.
