Celebrity Street Style of the Week: Alessandra Ambrosio, Teresa Palmer, & Rachel Bilson: "

Celebs

Every week, I scour the web to find inspiring outfits on your favorite celebs and help you recreate their looks! This week, I was inspired by Alessandra Ambrosio, Teresa Palmer, and Rachel Bilson. Read on to see how you can get their looks for yourself.

Look 1: Alessandra Ambrosio’s Dressed-Up Denim

Supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio looked chic in NYC this week, incorporating a pair of cuffed dark wash denim shorts into a dressy ensemble. The dark wash shorts looked fab paired with her olive green flowy top and cheery pink jacket, and Alessandra added plenty of accessories for even more interest: a long gold necklace, several eclectic bracelets, a structured shoulder bag in a light shade, and some metallic aviator sunglasses. Finally, she kept her look comfortably leggy with some beige sandals.

Alessandra’s look requires embracing a fun, bright color scheme – who would have thought green and pink could look so good together? But by adding metallic touches – the necklace, bracelet, gold buttons on the pink blazer, and aviator sunglasses – as well as sophisticated shapes like the structured blazer and loose tank top, the bright colors look chic rather than childish. A beige handbag and sandals keep the look fresh.

Look 2: Teresa Palmer’s Floral & Lace Combo

Actress Teresa Palmer was seen looking chic while walking the city with her fellow actor boyfriend. Her ensemble consisted of a floral miniskirt, a short-sleeved lace top with a white bandeau peeking through, and some wedge sandals. She accessorized with a cross-body bag and some sunglasses in a unique shape. The florals and lace make for a sweet, girly look, while the skirt’s short hemline and sheer nature of the shirt give the look a foxier vibe.

A floral skirt in a short length is a summer staple, and pairing it with a lace t-shirt is a cool way to reinvent the look. Wear a white bandeau underneath the shirt to emulate Teresa’s look, or, if you prefer more coverage, substitute a cami or tube top. Accessories in neutral tones like brown work best with the look; here I have featured wedges, a cross-body bag, and sunglasses in the shade.

Look 3: Rachel Bilson’s Summery Structured Meets Casual

Starlet and fashionista Rachel Bilson looked sharp while out and about recently, mixing structured pieces like a blazer-type jacket, flowy button-down shirt and black booties with a casual pair of frayed denim shorts with exposed pockets. I love this look for a day where you feel like looking put-together while maintaining a relaxed vibe. Rachel also played with proportions by choosing a shirt with a long length, while her shorts and jacket are of smaller and more form-fitting proportions.

Rachel’s look starts with some frayed denim shorts, a summer basic. Next, find a button-down blouse with a long hemline and a loose fit, preferably in a light color like peach. A structured blazer or sweater will pull the look together, but as the look is meant for warm weather, try to pick one in a light fabric and in a charcoal gray color, a fresh alternative to heavier black blazers. Keep accessories in the same color scheme by wearing black Wayfarers, a gray quilted handbag similar to Rachel’s, and some black booties (these lace up booties are made of burlap, a friendlier fabric for warm seasons).
